A CFO’s judgment, without the CFO payroll

Forecasting, cash flow discipline, margin analysis, and a senior voice in your biggest decisions. Delivered part-time, priced like a service, informed by books we already keep.

Somewhere on the way to seven figures, businesses start facing CFO-sized questions: How much can we afford to grow? Which customers actually make us money? When does the next hire pay for itself? Can we survive a slow quarter? Hiring a full-time CFO to answer them costs well into six figures. Most growing companies need the judgment, not the headcount.

Our outsourced CFO service provides that judgment on a monthly rhythm. Because the same firm keeps your books, the analysis starts from numbers we already trust, and recommendations connect directly to your tax plan instead of fighting it.

What your CFO engagement covers

i.
Cash flow forecastingA rolling forecast so you see tight months coming while there is still time to act.
ii.
Margin and pricing analysisWhich products, services, and customers actually make money, and what to do about the ones that do not.
iii.
Budget and growth planningHiring plans, equipment purchases, and expansion modeled before you commit.
iv.
Banking and financing supportLender-ready statements and projections when you need credit, and a partner in the room when terms get discussed.
v.
Quarterly strategy sessionsA standing senior-level review of where the business is going, not just where it has been.
The Value of One Firm

A fractional engagement costs a fraction of a full-time finance hire, and the first cash flow forecast often changes at least one significant decision.

Questions

Asked and answered

How is this different from what my accountant already does?
Accounting records the past accurately. CFO work uses those records to shape the future: pricing, hiring, financing, and growth. Most firms stop at the first part. We connect both.
Do we need to move our books to you first?
It works best that way, because the forecasts are only as good as the books underneath them. Many clients start with accounting and add CFO services within the year.
Is this only for companies in trouble?
No. Most of our CFO clients are healthy and growing. They want to grow on purpose instead of by accident.
